A rare Japanese black tea infused with sun-dried Keraji orange peels - an endemic citrus variety grown only on the island of Kikaijima. This tea is made from a special black tea cultivar, similar to that used in Earl Grey, but without added oil or artificial flavorings.
Handpicked and crafted in small batches, Wakoucha Keraji is certified pesticide-free, produced in an eco-friendly environment, and has received awards at the Japanese Tea Selection Paris.
Flavor profile:
- delicate floral and Japanese pepper aroma;
- notes of orange pulp and sweet lemonade;
- balanced acidity and sweetness;
- smooth taste with a clean finish.
Brewing tips:
- use hot water (90-100°C);
- add 2-3 g tea per cup;
- steep for up to 1 minute; longer steeping will yield a deeper, stronger brew;
- can be re-brewed up to 2 times;
- enjoy warm or pour over ice for a refreshing iced version.
Servings: 2-3g per cup.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place.
