Japanese High-Grade Black Tea with Keraji orange peels, an endemic citrus fruit grown only on the island of Kikajima.
It`s an award-winning black tea (Japanese Tea Selection Paris prizes), grown in eco-friendly environment without pesticides, in a limited number of harvests per year.
Tea leaves are processed from a very rare tea cultivar, similar to that used to make classic Earl Grey.
Flavor profile: distinct aroma of flowers and Japanese pepper, accented by the citrusy undertones of Keraji - flavors of orange pulp and sweet lemonade, a delicate balance between acidity and sweetness.
Brewing tips:
- water temperature: 90-100°C hot water;
- short steeping time: up to 1 min, longer time will result in very concentrated tea;
- re-brewing: 2 times;
- drink warm or with ice added.
Servings: 25.
Storage: cool, dark and dry place.
Shelf life: 1 year before opening. Once opened, consume within the next 6 months.
